At the Voice, we hope upon finding someone excited about the same thing you are, you become more excited. Upon finding someone worried about the same things you are, you become a little less worried.
Through its unique geography, economy and demographics, Vancouver offers a unique perspective on what fears and hopes occupy the minds of Canadians.
From Feb. 6, to Feb. 8, business owners and residents were asked what they worried about and what they were excited about. From a cancer researcher to a tattoo artist, there were a range of answers and insights, many of which are linked through shared experience and understanding.
“Today I am worried about the annexation of Canada. I think that’s on a lot of people’s minds…it’s hard not to have that consume you. So I’m very, it’s in the forefront of my mind Right, it’s definitely heavy, it’s a heavy weight, you know, because there’s a lot to lose.”
Great pictures!
