Unifor National President, Jerry Dias and the rest of the board has come to a temporary agreement with CEO of TransLink, Kevin Desmond. A bus strike will not be imminent.

November began with reports of Vancouver bus operators wearing, in one case, a Hawaiian shirt instead of the TransLink uniform, as part of an overtime and uniform ban.
Buses in Metro Vancouver will be shutting down for three days next week if a deal is not reached between Coast Mountain Bus Company and the union representing its drivers and mechanics.
