Union Wedding Show promotes allies to LGBTQ couples

Even though Vancouver is widely regarded as a progressive and inclusive city, LGBTQ couples are still prone to experiencing homophobia from businesses, says a local wedding planner.

Cristie Rosling, a wedding planner at Umbrella Events based in Vancouver, organized the first Union Wedding Show in 2015 alongside photographer Belle Ancell. This year’s show took place on Nov. 16 at Heritage Hall on Main Street.
