Vancouver rabbit sanctuary is forced to turn down newcomers
An influx of people giving away their pets have brought the Vancouver Rabbit Rescue and Advocacy sanctuary to capacity

Olga Betts cannot take anymore rabbits at her facility. many animal across the city are being returned or given to places like the Vancouver Rabbit Rescue and advocacy sanctuary, which Betts founded. These sanctuaries are increasingly forced to turn pet owners away. Betts and other sanctuaries urge people not to take on the responsibility of rabbit ownership without learning more about their unique needs and requirements.
