Video: Crushing the patriarchy with pockets with Frameworq Education Society
A workshop last weekend taught women to sew pockets into their clothes as part of a movement toward sustainable fashion

The Frameworq Education Society hosted a pocket-making workshop last Sunday. The society regularly hosts classes teaching basic sewing skills so that attendees can fix and adjust their own clothes. The idea is to work against fast fashion and develop sustainable skills.
Last week’s workshop on pocket-making, led by Erin Gravelle, aimed to empower women frustrated with women’s clothes never having pockets. Attendees learned to sew pockets into their own garments and crush the pocketless patriarchy.
